The application form will ask you for:

1. Rotation assumptions;

2. Yield class corrrected for rotation length and

  planting density;

4. Ten year itemised cash flow;

5. NPV calculation with WACC demonstrated

  time line;

6. Map;

7. Copy of FC contract or interim grant application;

8. Proof of land ownership;

9. Environmental Impact Assessment or Statement.

Project hosts would need to be (or become) members of the Confederation of Forest Industries - the independent forestry industry association.

Planning ahead:

The process is very thorough and can take up to a year to complete. Even if you're only half considering doing a project let us know: We can be keeping an eye out for schemes that could particularly suit you.

Payment is made on completion of the project.

'Completion' means either:

(a) proof of Forestry Commission payment, or:

(where scheme is not Forestry Commission supported)

(b) proof of completion of planting.
